Meet Rob...

AKA Robert but full name only used by momma Healey (typically when in trouble)  ;-)

Rob describes himself as a hard worker, easy to get along with and a person who always tries to make people smile and laugh. Rob likes to make sure everyone is always having fun. He is active, confident, creative, meticulous and likes his surroundings to be neat and clean. He puts his heart into all that he does. Family & friends would describe Rob as very outgoing, friendly, happy, enthusiastic, kind, loving, and generous guy. Rob loves to entertain. Back in his youthful years he used to write his own music and sing in a band. It's been awhile since those days but he'll always to be the first to bust out in song if and when given the chance. Above all Rob is a supportive and encouraging partner and friend to all of his loved ones.

Parents Tom & Kay Healey, both retired now with LOTS of time open to spend with grandchildren. Kay worked as an ER Registered Nurse. Kay's personality is spunky, she can be very funny, and speaks bluntly and to the point. Kay is a very hard worker. Tom was a plumber and a salesman of plumbing supplies. Tom was born & raised in England and met Kay while on a plane when she was a traveling nurse. He immigrated to the US to be with Kay. Rob describes his Dad as a very funny, loving, & caring Father. The family has had many fun times in Danbury, Wi at their lake home.

Rob has an older sister Sara that currently lives in Reno, Nevada with her boyfriend Chris. She is a Registered Nurse. Chris works as a Quality Control Inspector at Panasonic. Sara and Chris currently do not have any kids but have a dog. Rob's family has been very supportive of the adoption process & are eager to help in any way they can.

Rob & his sister Sara have enjoyed many road trips growing up & always cherish their time spent at the lake. Rob played soccer for several years when he was younger. He was of course a class clown in middle school but settled down in high school. He values his friendships and loves to be around friends. Rob & Sarah celebrate major holidays with family. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Fourth of July alternate years between the Healey's & the Schulte's.

Rob was taught the value of hard work growing up.  His parents used open communication to teach him right from wrong.  He remembers being told he was a leader.  Rob always felt supported and knew he could go to his parents if he needed any advice. Rob's parents taught him to be respectful & to enjoy life.

Rob loves his music, especially Rockabilly Blues. He enjoys going to concerts, home projects, yard improvement, & golfing.

Rob plans to help his child develop positive self esteem by encouraging & supporting them to develop their interests and talents and engaging with the child in activities they enjoy. He wants to put a positive spin on things and teach his child to view mistakes and failures as ways to learn. Overall he is excited to become a father.
